Rhizoma gastrodiae tuber (Tian Ma) is one of the precious TCM herbals. It has efficacy of curing headache, dizziness, convulsion, cramp, rheumatism and even hypertension etc.

 Yunnan is a big producer of rhizoma gastrodiae tuber in China; its Lijiang, Nujiang and Diqing etc. all exhibit natural conditions for this herbal to grow. But in Yunnan, the premium rhizoma gastrodiae tuber is planted in Zhaotong in Northeast Yunnan; and if possible, a wild one is the best.
